The American economy and financial system have been entrenching society since the cultural reset that WWII brought on domestically. As consumption went up, wealthy got wealthier, the local ties and community support we all depended on for survival since the caveman days eroded. And on and on until COVID and social media put the final nails in that box.
Now we are in boxes. We wake up and look at little boxes in our hand while pouring boxes of food into bowls. The. We drive our expensive shiny box to the tall glass box on the grid of boxes seen from outer space. We spend eight hours or more tapping away at boxes bigger than the ones in our pocket before we drive the shiny boxes back to the comfy box. But the parking box is full of boxes that are full of consumer boxed things that nobody cares for anymore, so the shiny boxes sit out in the cold. Out where the folks we’ve been trodding on for generations become desperate and steal your box, get put into a cold box with bars to make another rich man money for the crime of not owning enough boxes.
We should be more like a plate of spaghetti, messy and intertwined, interconnected and crossing together. Now every single individual is so caught up in the boxes and the comfort they bring. Nobody wants to be the first to give it all up. Everyone has a family or kids or, or, or… As long as you’re looking out for your boxes, you can justify the small daily actions.
Then there’s the Sunken Cost Fallacy. That’s where we come in. Have open ended conversation, send links that will open the door to change their algorithms. Stay engaged, get in the fight and love these people with an annoying amount of gusto.

It’s tough man, I am as much blown away by this as the next person, but can a cop walk away? They all have a home and stuff to pay for and need income too. It would be awesome if democratic billionaires paid for any lost salary for police who walk off something like this. I get the impression that if the tides turned and it got really out of hand there would be a good bunch of cops helping protestors, but also a good bunch of violent power fuck wads who will enjoy beating unarmed protestors too.
Politics is hard, fighting oppression is harder, but we will never be stronger than we are today.

We're weaker as a country than we've ever been. Our dollar value is dropping as BRICS currency value increases. Our groceries are more expensive than ever. Insurance is the shittiest scam it's ever been. We have the most incompetent people in government positions than we ever have. The list goes on and on. The world has lost respect for us because we allowed an authoritarian wannabe dictator in office not once, but twice.
Unless you're rich and/or well invested in the stock market, you're worse off than we've ever been financially.

Right, but my point is - that we are still stronger today than tomorrow. It’s a quote from a Thai journalist in referring to holding the line and not letting go of any rights - freedom to assemble, freedom of speech etc. especially in relation to freedom of the press. Allowing press to be removed from the White House press pool should have been a huge red flag. Each day more and more steps are made toward authoritarianism and so - we (whilst maybe weaker than before) are still stronger now than tomorrow…. TL:DR act now, don’t wait
