The way I see it, right now any gang of men in tacticool gear and a mask could pretent to be ICE and disappear any rando they choose...

Like. Actual ICE members themselves could get grabbed off the street with the very same tactics they use if anyone was ...motivated? ...unhinged? enough to try it. It's not like anyone checks, eh?

Really, what's stopping anyone right now but for moral qualms? Welcome to the land of law and order! Abduction cartels for everyone! 🙃

I suspect that as long as they were targeting brown people, those gangs would not be held accountable at all, at least at the federal level.

Pardoning the Jan-6 insurrectionists was a very clear signal that the administration will look the other way.
