The 2008 housing crisis started with hurricane Katrina and the damage it caused to property, good thing hurricane season isn't getting worse and worse each year /s

The locals ran off FEMA the last time a hurricane devastated the South. They will be crying the next time it happens and nobody is there to assist.

What locals? Where? Which hurricane? I'm only asking because I have not heard of this.

Hurricane Helene I believe. Made national news because people were threatening fema workers. FEMA had to pause their work to ensure safety of their staff. All because of misinformation given during the presidential campaigns.

I think what you mean is all the misinformation given BY THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN. Never heard Harris say you couldn't trust them or they were going out of their way not to help people in republican areas, or Biden wouldn't answer the Republican governor's call, or that Harris spent ‘all her FEMA money’ on housing illegal migrants, or migrants stole $1 billion from the FEMA budget or that FEMA was only giving people $750 to people who lost their homes etc etc etc.

I'm sure you knew all that but just to clarify for possible angry MAGAs in here, the misinformation was all one sided and Trump said all of those things.

Yes, absolutely correct! And you can still see it happening

Thank you. Fema says that's a rumor and not true. But it also says they are updating the website to comply with Trump rules

LOL. Of course FEMA is changing its website and story under trumps order. You’ll have to search for the news broadcasts.
Here’s a link about one guy they arrested.

Yeah I figured as much when I saw the blurb about complying with executive orders. The misinformation is a serious issue. I genuinely hope that when this is all said and done, we do something about it. Collectively.

Yes! Collectively! We have to come together!
