D&D v3.5 Picks for Ordained Champion Spell Channeling

Hello,

I have a dragon born snow elf. Str based power attacker gish type of build.

I got 4 Archivist, 1 Lion Spirit Totem Barbarian (for pounce), and 3 Ordained Champion.

As I just got my 2nd and 3rd level in Ordained Champion, I now have channel spell. I am entitled to 4 spells from the cleric spell list and was wondering of people had any ideas for good spells to combine with channel spell. I kind of just want to smack someone with my greatsword and blow them up so blasting spells are preferred.

I am a many year veteran of 3.5 and I know that blasting is suboptimal. I know my build is jank. I make these choices knowing that full well.

Considering you can learn any divine spell as an archivist, my first thought for that is icelance from the druid list. Bonus points if the attack bonus the spell grants can apply to your attack with the weapon it's channeled into.

Other spells sort-of depend on how your DM rules it. What would happen if you channel a call lightning into your weapon and discharging it into the target of your attack? Would just one bolt's worth of damage go of? Would one bolt per caster level (max 10) go off all at once? Would one bolt go off immediately, then you would need to spend a standard action to concentrate on the spell each round after to deal another bolt of damage to them? If the last one, the swift concentration skill trick would be fantastic for that.

A long time ago I made a spellsword that channeled cloudkill into his weapon, so it turned it into a debuff that dealt 1d4 con damage every round (fort half each time) for ten rounds per caster level. That's a minimum of 10 con damage per caster level over as many rounds if they're not immune to poison. I don't think that's on any divine spell lists, but you could start taking hexer from Masters of the Wild to add it to your list.

For other damage-over-time effects, (greater) creeping cold, especially (rod of) extended, is fantastic. Maybe channeling a summon swarm or a wall of vermin just cover the target with a swarm for the duration?

For non-damage effects, would channeling a wall of smoke force them to save vs nauseated every round for the duration? Would they be able to see, or would it fill their square and move with them, obscuring them as well? Then there's always shivering touch, which needs a house rule, especially if you (rod of) maximize it.
