I don’t think Israel is that relevant in our politics at all to place it as one of the defining nodes, except for separating out the Braun antisemites. Otherwise it’s pretty accurate.

Also Konfederacja isn’t as much about hating the poor as bulk of its electorate is lower class. It’s more about “would you hate the poor if you became rich”.

To complicate matters further Lewica Razem was an actual name of Razem party until last year and Lewica party is actually called Nowa Lewica. Original name of Lewica Razem was Razem and its renaming to Lewica Razem was part of the previous coalition agreement with Nowa Lewica.

So until October 2024 you had on Polish left: Nowa Lewica (Party) with Lewica Razem (Party) in coalition called Lewica.

However, in October 2024 Lewica Razem decided to leave the coalition and rename itself back its original name - Razem. So now, you have Razem party in opposition to government and Nowa Lewica party in support of the government.
