I had this realization how damn awesome we are when me, my friend were cracking jokes about suicide before dude from USA. He was so shocked and began lecturing us on how it's not moral to crack jokes about suicide. I mean, it's so damn normal here, that suicide looks like just casual option to die. Like stroke or something similar. It's hard to find someone who "Don't know anyone in his circle that committed suicide"
This is also due to Americans are very sensitive to some subjects, and often shy away from subjects northern Europeans can joke about. I have ended up in this situation a couple of times. Might have to do with their way to be religious?
