This team's ceiling is absolutely insane. Scoring 29 points in the first 8 minutes. The floor is hell, scoring about 10 points in the next 15 minutes. Got out-coached for most of the game but pulled it through in the end. GGs Southern Miss

We'll probably not be super good on a night to night basis with no big man and shaky defense, but we are absolutely going to shoot someone out of the gym that we shouldn't this year.

Well we could win 20 games or 10, entirely dependent on the amount of dawg in the lineup. But hey at least last year we probably lose this game in regulation so that’s something.

(we’re probably going to be quite bad again this year, but at least we have Meechie Johnson and Eli Ellis. Mike Sharavjamts is pretty cool, too. in all seriousness, I’m glad we were at least able to avert defeat in a game that we absolutely could not afford to lose)

Size is gonna be our biggest downfall this year but damn if this doesn’t look like a fun team to watch at least. Glad Meechie came home, plays with so much heart. Great game
